Pulled up behind a SL55 AMG this evening on the motorway. We were both caught in traffic, but when it cleared he put his foot down but I kept a reasonably equal distance between us - i.e. he didn't get away 
This happened twice (he had to slow down for traffic), I think he was shocked that this black bmw wasn't disappearing in his rear view mirror 
Are these cars not that fast, is the dms 535d just absolutely brilliant, or was he not trying?

700700 - I know absolutely *zero* about Mercedez Benz and AMG cars. When I posted that comment I had no idea whether a SL55 AMG had 500bhp or 300bhp. That is *why* I asked the question.
I'd appreciate an apology for your comment. Personal Insults are not welcome in the e60 forum
