The following events took place in my 2005 EB Explorer....
I got pulled over 3 weeks ago at 5am for speeding (10 over), and recieved a written warning. Pretty cool, eh?
Well, I got pulled over this morning at 3:20am for expired registration, and got a written warning.
THEN, I got pulled over AGAIN this morning , this time at 10:30am and for speeding (10 over) .............................................you gussed it- a written warning for speeding, and ANOTHER warning for the registration...
Maybe my luck is real good and I just don't see it yet.. LOL, made my day a bit better though. I think I'll slow down now, because the likelyhood of this happening again has got to be extremely low.

Must be a Texas thing. I've had on 3 occasions cops come up behind me as I'm speeding and get on the intercom telling me to slow down.

Yes. Buy a lottery ticket-maybe three.
Also, while we all are angry when we get a ticket from a "jerk" cop, we are equally appreciative to be let off the hook. It's nice to hear a story of ones who give us a break.
You, however, must be living right! Do you have a business card I can present the next time I need to? "I'm sorry officer, I happen to know Rik. Have a nice day."
