Seriously, how dumb are they in AZ?

Everyone thought Obama was the one that was going to clean house and get things straight and the sad part is that maybe that was exactly his intention but..........when money is flashed in your face and power/greed takes affect every filthy politician has always proven us right. Dirty ass money hungry momos, they sell out and sell everything they promised to do for us (American People). Typical politician!

Conservatives rarely look in the mirror when making such glib, lightweight and disingenuous comments as yours. The economic, structural and reputational damage that Bush and the previous conservative administration inflicted on this country was devastating. Atavistic conservative criticism of Obama generally glosses over the thorny reality that Bush left the country in a far worse state than it was when he inherited it. Damage of that magnitude won't be and can't be repaired overnight.
More to the point, when the best that the conservatives could field was McCain and Palin, who for me remains perhaps the least qualified person ever to run for vice president and soon, it seems, President, you can hardly blame the country for electing the articulate, intelligent alternative.
History will not judge Bush kindly but it is far too soon to make any meaningful judgments on Obama. That said, given the state of the country when he took office, I'd say "the change that we got" was a positive one.

Perhaps the real questions are why was change needed and what drove the country to demand it?

Oh you mean like spending three times the deficit in 18 months that Bush did in 8 years?
Intelligent and articulate? Really? Anymore swooning you'd like to do over Obama? How about a picture with his shirt off. Oh wait.
How about the Clinton administration? Care to look into the mirror for that?
If you'd really like to examine unqualified people Obama has less time in an actual legislative position than most and he is the President.
Liberals have never hesitated to take pot shots at Bush but ask and demand that Obama has more time before we judge him. BS. You are getting the same amount of time that you gave before you judged Bush; which was about 3 seconds.
Enjoy the clusterfuck that Obama has only made worse in very little time.

The leftwing radicals are consistent if nothing else. Incapable of and afraid to defend Obama and the Democratic Congress, they always respond to criticism by blaming some other administration and some other Congress. Excuses, excuses. Not man enough to take responsibility for the outrageous anti-American manipulation that this administration and its puppets in Congress have rained down on the American taxpayer.
Double, double talk! Change the subject! Call the critic a racist! Criticize the rich and cry foul for the poor! Blame prejudice for your failures! On and on ad infinitum...
If you want socialism and you are that desperate for Socialism why not take the 250,000 illegals who flooded into the Tucson sector in 2009 and the 50% of Americans who pay no taxes and move to North Korea?

Clinton's farewell speech included the fact that he left the country on track to be debt free by 2009, in 8 years Bushie destroyed that - but wait there's more, Jr also managed to get us into not one but 2 wars, ruin the reputation of America in the international community by allowing torture and generally made us a laughing stock of incompetence and stupidity. Let's face it he was an dolt with daddy issues, no more no less.
What 3 second period were you speaking of when we were able to judge Bush Jr? When he sat on his ass for 10 mins doing nothing after being informed we were attacked on 9/11? Maybe you mean when he couldn't pronounce the word "nuclear" with any measure of competence? Or maybe you mean Abu Ghraib? Or water boarding? Or maybe the economic collapse? We could go on and on.
while Clinton was a scumbag, his biggest crime was getting a blow job - not condoning war crimes, you're a soldier, I would've expected more honor than that. I'd like to think when I was in I would've found torturing people orders I couldn't comply with, maybe that's just me.
The "clusterfuck" you speak of is what Obama inherited and what he is trying to fix. I can certainly agree he hasn't done as good a job of it as I expected from him. I was hoping for more sooner that this, but the partisanship (on BOTH sides) is nauseating in both houses of the Senate.

Please detail the "outrageous anti-American manipulation" that you claim has "rained down on the American taxpayer" - I'd love to see this.
Sorry to say Greg, your ignorance is astounding. If you could make on coherent statement without spitting out the word "liberal" in it I would be amazed. I would be more inclined to understand (even if i don't agree with) right wing whackos like yourself IF so many of you weren't proven hypocrites (see the Anti-Gay activist recently caught spending his European vacation with a male escort).
I can buy into all the cries for less government in our lives IF the right didn't want so badly to interfere with abortion, gay rights, public education, etc. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Less government works both ways, if you truly want less government interference in you life then stop insisting in interfering in the lives of others. Live YOUR life, and let others live theirs, stop worrying what others do medically or with other adults in the privacy of their bedrooms.

Being a native Arizonan and living in Phoenix my whole life, let me tell you what it?s like from a non-political p.o.v. BTW,...article 67 of Mexico's Population Law says, "Authorities, whether federal, state or municipal ... are required to demand that foreigners prove their legal presence in the country, before attending to any issues.? Anyway...it?s so easy for those outside of AZ to criticize the law because they don?t live here. I have so many examples of how citizens are losing out there isn?t even enough room on here.
Here are a few...Arizona?s illegal immigrant population is costing the state?s taxpayers even more than once thought -- a whopping $2.7 billion, but nay sayers don?t tell you that. Clogged up emergency rooms full of illegals...guess who pays for them? Citizens can?t get section 8 housing thanks to ?anchor babies? and their families moving in. Anyone here ever been in a hit and run by an illegal..it?s so common around here our insurance reflects it. They helped put my husband out of job who was a licensed, bonded, and insured contractor by consistently underbidding him and other honest, legal citizens. Anyone had their identity stolen by an illegal? Very, very common. Just wait until you are a victim of a crime committed by an illegal...my how you will change your tune!
Unless you live here and well over 75% of Arizonans support this law, BTW, none of you have any room to criticize. Maybe this isn?t the best solution, but the federal government has FAILED AZ.

It was your fellow Arizonans who chose to employ the lowest bidder, knowing full well why the rates were what they were, rather than pay a licensed contractor a fair rate for the job.
The reality is that within the 75% or more of your fellow residents who supposedly support the law, it would seem that there are more than a few of them who clearly don't mind turning a blind and hypocritical eye when they can get the work done on the cheap.

Politics need to stop bitching and get the ball rolling. Not much lol but... My 2 cents

Let me preface this response by admitting, I am no liberal, nor am I a Clinton "fan" - personally I thought he was a sleazeball, now to respond:

dude this is not a good post at all, it just stinks of left leaning garbage. Im sorry but if your true criticisms are of Bush for sitting for 10 mins during 9/11 or his speeches then im not going to respond.
And the whole bit about torture, first of all if you think that it only happened during the Bush administration then you are waaaaaaaaaaay too naive. I didn't like it then and I dont like it now, never have. Its not effective and its not a good practice.
Stop calling him Jr. It shows how bias you really are. Thats like me called Obama "Obamunism" everytime I want to mention him.
My main criticism with Clinton is hes constant regulation of businesses. I dont believe in it. That and the welfare act, which ultimately runied black families nationwide.
