come to the meet and see some JB3 1.22 vs Dinan action

http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=68726
Any Procede action.

I have seen some to the 335i boys with Procede, exhaust, downpipes, and FMIC. Dyno at 390+ hp at the wheels, on 91 octane.

Shiv dynoed their car with 104 octane. 423whp and 397lb of torque, that is just amazing.

Terry ran his 135i JB3 car a few weeks back and ran 11.83@118.85.

The x35i engine is just a little beast.

Dinan flash vs JB3 I would put my money on the JB3 everytime. JB3 is easily pushing an extra 20+hp.

The Procede would beat both, especially with a race map.
indeed. there are many factors involved. and to your point, the JB3 certainly has more power - both quoted and dyno. again, to me "peace of mind" and no limp modes is priceless!

but on that particular day, Dinan took out the JB3! and this was even with the JB3 having the jump.

Nice.

I see a little friendly competition brewing for the next meet.

Looking forward to hearing the outcome or seeing it maybe(video ).

friendly being the key word there. that's the thing i love 'bout e60'ers, no matter how competitive....it always stays friendly. unlike with the younger e9x crowd, they take it more personally.

i'm sure you'll see a pic and/or a video of the front of my car!

The 335i is ~150 lbs lighter and has a few more hp due to a better flowing exhaust than a 535i. By removing the 535i spare and jack and going with lighter wheels the difference will be negligible.
You forgot the floor mats.

did you try the saloon or the coupe?
I used to have a E46 and when I change to E60 I don't think I will go back to a small saloon car.
The only 3er I get is the 335i coupe Convertible nothing elas.
I tried the 335i coupe convertible. That is quite a beast!!! My wife loves it but keeps saying that it's a bit small for its price....

Not sure how it would look getting that kind of car (120k usd here) during this present economic times in taiwan.... might get spit on...
heheheh

Yeah, it is. Personally, I'd rather just wait a year and see what the F10 looks like
but she likes convertibles so.... well, we'll see how we feel after the Holidays coming
up this week....

My brother drives a 335xi
Had a laugh last summer on a guy with a Yamaha yzf1000 Thunderbird. First he was humiliated on a curvy road and then on straight but quite narrow road in 240 km/h. That was beyond his currage anyways
