Iceman - do you get a good selection of games in Germany? Is it like Direct TV where you have access to all the games?
As for the season - The Pats will be tough, after last night everybody in the AFC is nervous. The were winning Super Bowls without a groud game. Now, if they get a lead and grind it out, they will be even tougher to beat. But I'm with Iceman on repeating, not likely. I would still give them the nob for the S.B.

NFC - Eagles have been soooooo close, maybe Headcase Owens will help.

Me, a 49er season ticket holder, I just love football. Enjoy

I wish we would have Direct TV.
We have a pay TV station (Premiere) and they have the exclusive NFL rights.
They show two Sunday games, not the Sunday night game, and the Monday night game. So every week we get three football games, live. Then they show them again the next two days, without the breaks of course. All games are shown in two languages German comes from a German commentator, sitting in a studio in Munich, and the English commentary is the original one you have in the States. Since the German one is really bad, the most ppl listen to the original commentators. Funny thing about that is, that we only get the commentators from the stadium, so we can't hear JB or whoever in wherever... And we don't get halftime shows to watch, nor the team intro or the national anthem...
They also show specials, live and then they show it again in the following two days, like the season opener and the thanksgiving specials.
We get all playoff games, but none of the pre-season action. We don't get any football magazines, just the NFL blast, what usually is used to fill the commercial break holes.
We can not decide on what we see.
The NFL lets Premiere select games out of a pool the NFL provides. So Premiere can't say 'we want this or that game', NFL gives them a couple games to chose from.
For Superbowl there are big Superbowl partys. But I usually just watch the games at my home with my wife, have the laptop hooked on to the internet to follow the live scores from all other games, and I watch it on my screen, using the projector...

No problem, Rudy.

I said earlier that I would like to see the Raiders win, but think the Steelers do by 10... Well, not by 10, but they won... So I was right, wish I would have been wrong.

You were close -- they blew a lead of more than 10 points!

I doubt it, but I wish they would.
Jake Delhomme was one of our (Frankfurt Galaxy / NFL EL) Quaterback in 1999 when we won the championship (Pat Barnes was the other one). He is a very nice guy...
