That's bullsh*t. An officer's job in to contain the suspect, not dispense punishment just because his adrenaline is pumping. The guy was face down in a defenseless, submissive position, and that was a cheap, pu$$y shot by the officer. He needs to learn self control. He was just mad because some criminal punk could outrun his fat a$$. Yeah, real tough guy kicking someone on the ground. Take off that badge and I'd like to to shove that foot up his a$$.

Oh, and I'm not anti-cop. My grandfather was with the California Highway Patrol for many years, and my brother was an MP in the Army. I have great respect for those officers who do not abuse their authority.
Don't prevaricate about the bush. How do you really feel?

With all the Adrenaline running through the officer, it must be hard to contain his anger, but he MUST!! I don't doubt that the idiot who engages in evading the Police, deserves to be subdued, (for endangering innocent lives, like when he was driving the wrong direction down a city street), but restraint needs to be shown by professional Policemen at ALL times! Perhaps the dog could have bitten the criminal a couple of times to prevent his genetic material from polluting the Gene Pool???

One guys car on here gets hit by some kid running the streets, or hits something even more more precious, id like to hear your level headed oppinion then.
Its easy to be on the side of caution when you watch it from the safety of your laptops. Come on, are you really taking the side of a criminals over the side of someone making an attempt to stop that. That kid was not making rational decions, so why should we rationalize the situation for him?

Exactly, It would be different if they had a free for all and we taking turns whipping his ass, but an initial kick to ensure the guy really understood "now is the time to stop" was a good call in my opinion...

yep, when you deal with people that willingly put others at risk, you cannot reason with them while they are in the act, you have to meet them with blunt force to snap their head out of their ass and get total control of the situation

Its true police officers should be professional. I just ask that before the mondaymorningquarterbacking continues, take a walk in law enforcement shoes. Should the officer be reprimanded? Of course, however, that's as far as it should go. This could have been A LOT worse, as I'm sure some of you have seen in the past.
