Oh man that hurts! did they know what happened? how the accident happened?

There is a motoring program in the UK called Top Gear - you may have it on cable (BBC program) in the states. They regularly test cars on a runway - supercar stuff. The presenters have said that they have to be careful and mark the braking points on the runway, as at speed the end comes up much faster than you would expect, and of course, braking is longer than you expect.

I recon that they were probably going full tilt on a speed test - perhaps at 155mph if there was a limiter - at night. You have a limited range with the headlights and limited visibility. Spots end of runway too late at 155mph, breaks like mad, doesnt slow down enough, then launches off the end. You can just image a group of guys leaving a party, ones says lets see how the car goes, and you have that result.

Yes, unfortunately the eldest son driving the car made a very bad mistake. He was passing in a no passing zone. And he attempted to pass not one, or two but three cars at the same time. He hit a Hummer head on. Fortunately the drivers and passengers of the Hummer will be ok although also badly hurt.

I was just driving down the road the other day. I could never have imagined passing anyone on this street.

Stinks all the way around.
