My Ride: 2009 Alpine White e92 M3
Hi,
I just want to share some pics I took yesterday with my Sony Cyber-shot camera. Do you guys think I could have done it better with a Canon XSI? Don't know much about cameras but it interest me and trying to get into photo shooting for fun. I love to take pics but just don't know which camera should I get for starters and I'm not looking on spending that much for camera. Any input is gladly appreciated. thanks!
this was taken when I still have the 5.

Nice shots. If you go with a DSLR system (nikon or canon) you will have much more creative control and the ability to change lenses. If you invest in some nice lenses over time, you will still be able to use them when you eventually upgrade your camera body. So you need to decide either Nikon or Canon (I'm a Nikon guy). Both brands are comparable and excellent, but you can't put a nikon lens on a canon and vise versa, so if you do get into it and start collecting camera equipment, you are kind of locked into that brand.
My advice would be do some research and choose either Canon or Nikon (you won't go wrong with either then buy the best camera/lens combo you can afford/want to spend. Take a photography course, learn the camera inside out and your photos will be amazing.

My Ride: 2020 530e xDrive
Model Year: 2020

I shoot for fun..
Rebel XSI (450d) with vertical battery grip,
580EX-II flashgun
Gary Fong Lightsphere diffuser
24-105 f/4L IS
50mm f/1.8-II
17-55 IS kit lens
77mm Hoya Circular Polarizer
Hoya UV filters on all
I'd like to pick up some more L glass down the road, but what I have works for me for now!
