the real deal looks much better, ruf930. and agree with bdav. the storage area looks like it's from a very typical 10 years old truck/minivan .

Heh, that A - B comparison pretty much says it all. I know Daimler bought Chrysler, but honestly - do they need to put the Jeep steering wheel in -all- the MB models now?

Yesterday was the saddest day I witnessed in the automotive design history! There some really crazie people out there who have no problem with this? If BMW did anything similar all hell would break lose and all the MB fans would say MB leads in car innovation!! But anybody with any real knowledge would know that like Apple computers, anywhere BMW goes everybody esle follows Everybody after the bangle butt & iDrive came out, everybody is now like I think it's time to clean up the dashboard! and all these other vague excuses. I mean just look at these examples below

It's going to be hard getting used to that MB dash. Looks very cheesy. Sort of like getting in a GM vehicle. Hmm.

Or the Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep vehicle the parts were likely lifted from.

The flares make me think of the new ML as well.

Kind of freaky how Bangle's bold and arrogant predictions came true. Everyone is following his lead.

Bangle and his team were way ahead of their time - it's just amazing how many cars have blatantly lifted styling and design cues from the 5 and 7 series - and seem to get away with it.
