Nurses - New drama movie about nurses

Published: 2009-02-26

After successful hospital series Scrubs and Grays Anatomy
have now reached a new film on the nurses' everyday lives.
Nurses movie series has already been compared with the
popular series, Scrubs has a humorous approach and Grays
Anatomy has a realistic appearance. Despite the film's focus
on women and their responsibilities and status as nurses
anticipated movie still be a success among males.

Nurses can be said to be a contemporary drama focusing on
the good acting and the relationship between people. We
must follow the nurses in their role as carers and support for
various patients with various disorders and ailments.

The Nurses, one finds all sorts of kinds of characters, head
nurse played by Katsuni, a tough but fair woman who
carefully teaches the younger nurses. The classic scene
trained Katsuni has a huge presence, and her masterly
dialogues are almost Shakespearistic. In other roles are
Gabriella Fox, Shay Jordan and Jenna Haze.

Nurses tipped to become such a kind of film you turn on a
dark and chilly evening, to bunker up with pop corn on the
sofa and enjoy a fun film with his partner in a cozy evening
at home.

Tiz bout time.....I always smile when I watch movies & TV hospital dramas that even today perpetuate the myth of ever present, all doing, all knowing doctor. Truth is, nurses run hospitals....always have, always will.
A month ago I had a 17y/o kid in our ICU, who was airlifted from the Virgin Islands following a car crash. He had multiple injuries, the worst of which was a C5, C6 (the 5th & 6th of 7 cervical or neck bones) fracture with spinal cord damage, rendering paralyzed from mid chest down. He was initially was very unstable & his heart stopped 6 times in 4hrs, but he always came back with a little CPR and atropine....finally getting him stable by noon. I was then able to let his parents see him, and started to tell them what was going on with him & what the plan for the day was. His father cut me off mid sentence and asked to speak to a doctor, .....who came and they began peppering him with questions he couldn't answer because he hadn't been there. Finally he turned to me for help...I gave them the whole chapter & verse.....of course their attitudes changed after that.

I don't blame them (the parents) or the public really, the depictions on TV & in Movies goes a long way in shaping opinions. So while the reputation most doctors have is well deserved, they know their work is a collaboration that couldn't be accmplished without us. It's the image portrayed in the media that needs to reflect reality.........ER, Grey's, Scrubs etc....is not even close.

this is a little sappy but, watch anyway.
