Yeah...... The Pre-Update affected Samsung devices (which Microsoft should have checked more than 100times). Not only is WP7 suffering a lot during the competition, these kind of mistakes CANNOT be tolerated nor made at this given time.

And the IRONY IS, the pre-update was made as means to allow the No-Do update to flow in smoother, faster and with no mistakes. AND BAM, the pre-update cause errors which let a few phones hard reset (wipe out entire device data).
The No-Do updates Should be rolling out By March 2. But I believe M$ wont have it's big cut of the cake until Q3 or even Q4 when Multi-tasking is released.
Until then, WP7 will keep going down. Customers will shift phones and contracts to the iPhone 5 and other Android phones will cause a BIG hit to MS (specially when the iPhone 5 gets released; voted "most anticipated smartphone of the year" ).
