Okay... I was reading the silly leather vs. cloth noise thread and it had me thinking. Are there any cars currently implementing ANR in the sound system? Seems like a great option in a car with so many speakers. Thoughts?

The Acura RL I tested has active noise cancellation. I tried it and it does work (similar concept to the Bose noise cancelling headphones). I think a few others have it too.

It is a great idea to have ANR for the car.
And another example that Japanese car manufacture beating European on the latest technology in the car.

It would be nice to see in a BMW. I read a few years back about ANR being applied to corp. jets and I think by Boeing and Airbus. I didn't know Acura had it already.

Being first isn't always the best thing. Just look at the iPod.
