No, it really didn't sting. I actually expected them to lose. The media put too much pressure on them and magnified the whole thing way out of proportion.
It was NOT illegal before the 2007 season. Most teams did it including the Stealers under Cowen (google him) and the Cowboys under Jimmy Johnson (google him). The guy never read the memo in 2007. How many of you throw away memos and emails before even reading them? I do it all the time.
Patriots will win three SB rings this decade. They are a rebuilding team and it was actually amazing that they were the number 1 ranked team in 2010 with a bunch of rookies on the team. Yes, I understand that with success people will hate on you, so your hate is my happines.
Events that happened over 4 years ago that keep on coming up are getting a little boring. Note that most of these comments are coming from people whose teams have been owned by the Pats since 2007.
