This game was interesting. Though I can't sit and speculate if Norv or the defensive coordinator lost it for us, but I do know that the defense just BLEW IT! Every single play they failed to contain just made the Steelers look amazing. What a 4th quarter come back though right? LT is making it back, he looked good tonight and certainly will be getting better as the BYE week helps him recover and reflect on this game.
Near the end, it did get awful close considering the lead the Steelers had at one point but I'm not sure I'd be too optimistic if I were an SD fan. If you take away the two turnovers on special teams -- the punt where the ball got stripped out of Logan's hands after he was tackled but landed on another player [and wasn't down] and the onside kick attempt where it Mundy muffed it and the Bols recovered -- the game would never have been that close...

The Charger defense really did look bad (and certainly made us look good) but I wasn't too impressed with Rivers and the offense either.

Well our O-line realize they have issues... they are working on it obviously. They were playing against a defense that Blitz's about 80% of their plays, but when Chargers play the spread they make BIG plays (Rivers to Jackson/Gates/Chambers) ..Steelers were just more hungry for this win coming off 2 straight loses. Roethlessburger is tough to sack!
I hope our offensive line continues to play the way they played this week. Either they've done an amazing turnaround or the Chargers D really sucks big time. They were opening holes for Mendenhall all night. 165 yards rushing!

My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV
Another week where the Steelers dominate most of the game, then all of a sudden turn into the Raiders in the 4th quarter - WTF?!?!?!?! How do you almost blow a 28-0 lead? On the bright side it looks like we found us a Running Back, Mendenhall ran all over the Chargers.
In other news, gotta love the new "Brady rules". The refs apparently are going to throw a flag if you're in the same zip code as Tommy. Romo is apparently the only person in the country that thinks Champ Bailey can't cover a receiver - going his way twice in the end zone, really?!?!?!
