Whipped?!??! On what point exactly? (sorry AWG and I have a history so I block all her posts)
She backed up all her statement with actual stats vs. your opinions. That's OK though, water under the bridge. Let time tell the real story.

So did I as I recall, I didn't pull any #'s out of my arse. We are on an internet forum, it's not that hard to find stats (cough) Google (cough).

Well said. Comparing career stats isn't exactly fair. Early in Tom's career their offensive game plan was different. They were asking him to come out and throw 30-50 times a game like he did in 07'. Peyton has been in a passing controlled offense nearly his entire career, and still had the help of a pro bowl running back (edge). Tom Brady has never had a pro bowl rb to keep the heat off him.

Im done talking about this....its all opinion. No one is right or wrong. Bottom line: When Tom was asked to go out and pass like peyton, he shattered every single offensive record. He has won more head to heads. He has more rings. He has more superbowl mvps. He has a better playoff record.

Sounds like excuses. I would spend the time to post his career stats, but it is so in Peyton's favor its unfair to do so. Lets not forget who has more "real" mvp's, 3 to 1.

Tom is product of a system, especially in his early years. Like you said they didn't ask him to throw every down. If he did throw, most of the time it was a quick out. They invented the "dink and dunk" passing game. They were a dink and dunk team, with a top notch defense full of pro bowlers. Look at Brady's first ring. The game was won by the defense, they shutdown "the greatest show on turf". The Rams would score 30-40 points by half time. Randy Moss could possibly be the most talented receiver ever. He single handily got the fat-mess Culpepper elected to 3 pro bowls.

Will you tell Tom to get it in gear, he is on my fantasy team. Luckily Chris Johnson is too, he saved my ass last week. Brady now has two of biggest play recievers in the NFL, Galloway and Moss. What is with Brady and Galloway, they are so out of sync?

If a season ending injury after throwing for 76 yards in week 1 is an excuse then yes you got me. I know peytons career stats are killing tom bradys right now, but the "real" stats you speak of tom owns peyton. Playoff record - Tom. Head to head record - Tom. Super bowl mvps - Tom. Super bowl wins - Tom Most successful season - Tom.

Like i said before i think any qb in the nfl would watch peyton win the regular season mvp while they are collecting the sb mvp in feb.

I saw you mentioned Brady's first ring. I understand the defense did an amazing job on the Rams....but who shined the brightest when the game was on the line? Brady took them down the field and Adam V won the game for them. What about Bradys second super bowl when he threw for over 350 and 3 tds with no ints?

Another thing...."real" mvps. Peyton Mannings only super bowl mvp was a gift from the NFL because who he and his family are. He was not even close to the mvp. I posted his terrible stats from when they beat the bears. It was something like 175 yards passing with 2 turnovers while Addai had like 140 rushing and receiving yards.

Its the big test for the Panthers this week. Monday night football at Dallas.
Will they play like last week against Atlanta and battle Dallas like NYG did? Although I don't think they are at that level.
Or will they have an embarassing 7 turn-over game like week 1?

As much as I like the Panthers, I would want a 14 point spread before betting (Panthers 20, Cowgirls 34).

You said this a few post back, very forcefully, impressive stats to be fair, but not quite correct.
2004 Tom Brady: 32/48 354yds 3TDs 1int.

As for Peyton Manning's 'terrible stats' he went 25/38 247yds 1TD 1int in a torrent of rain which you conveniently leave out, interesting since this was the only SuperBowl played in the rain. (there were 6 fumbles between the teams, 5 were lost)

As for Addai's 100+yds he actually had less than 80yds and 0 Td's ; 19 rushes for 77yds to be exact.
It was the other back, Dominic Rhodes, who had the MVP worthy stats; 21 rushes for 113yds 1 TD (5yds/carry with a long of 36yds.)

That's it, you'll carry on now.

Hey Phill, I remember that halftime show! I recall wondering why Prince had that lace thing tied around his head. It made him look like the offspring of a shudder-inspiring coupling between Aunt Jemima and Brett Michaels.
