What do you guys think of the new macbooks? Anyone going to or have already picked one up? I've had my macbook for the last 2 years and use it 8 hours a day for work. Great laptop but I've been wanting to upgrade. I decided against the new macbook pro route and went refurbished. They are about the same specs as new except about a grand less. I'd recommend the same to anyone considering it, I should get the new macbook pro next week.

I'm thinking of getting the new aluminum Macbook... I wish the Macbook Pro came in a screen size smaller than 15". Carrying a 15" laptop through airports can be a pain... No refurbished option in Korea.

Nice, I'm hoping it will be a nice upgrade from the 2.0GHZ core duo I had. I usually have 10 programs open with about 40 firefox tabs for work, big multitasker.

MacBook is nice and I almost picked it up until I found out no FireWire port. I'll hold on to my current laptop for a few more months and then pickup the MacBook Pro that at least has the FireWire800 port.

ive got a blackbook...2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB 667 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM. I had it for maybe like 6 months...but I want a new macbook! they look gorgeous, and id take it just for the backlit keyboard alone. but id have to sell this one first.
