Cadillac is still a GM pos, not a refined Bimmer... however the new cts-v gave the m5 a good run, and bang for buck its unbeatable...
Keep in mind, CTS-V is a new car, we don't even know its track record yet. Once they start breaking like all Caddies do, then we'll see. :-)
Btw, I think 5er looked better in that commercial anyway!

The CTS-V may outperform the M5 at some aspects but the overall package of the M5 is unbeatable. That car has a tranny that rips necks at every gear change, it has a V10 engine that sounds like it came from F1 as for real BMW invested quite alot of the F1 know how in that engine. The quality of the interior is far better and i can go on with other aspects of the package that shine in favor of the Bimmer.
It's like the Corvette ZR-1. We know it's very very very fast. We know it can also corner very very very well. We know it can probably smoke a Ferrari F430 AND that it costs half as much but would anyone really really choose a ZR-1 in favor of a Ferrari?
Don't think so....unless that someone is budget limited and thus like everything else that works on this Earth that someone will have to make compromises with that choice.
It all depends on what you want and what you can afford/can have.

i like how the measuring stick of every car company is a BMW, DOES THAT NOT MEAN SOMETHING, for all this stuff about the genesis and cadillac being so great why compare them to an inferior car, i guess because BMW is still the better overall car if not stop measuring yourself to them, btw the caddie is a nice car to those that prefer it why compare it to a bimmer. those that like bimmer will not buy a caddie and vice virsa. If you are truley better the consumer will prove it if you have to say it its probably not true
