Parochialism is one thing but posts like this are just flat out silly. What were the circumstances of the collision? If the car was hit in the back by a 40 ton semi going 100, well the result would be the same in any car I imagine. I know of a lady who died in a new 7 two years ago. And the e60 only got 4 stars in the NCAP tests.
