I dont know if this ever happened to anyone before but i find it very messed up, immature , and frustrating on my part.
i thought it would probably be funny to share for some reason someone wanted to be funny last night and steal all my plates includingm y europlates i had on my 530I the worst thing was that i didnt know that they were missing till i drove 30 minutes to work when someone told me. it was so annoying i had to go to the dmv wait in line for god knows how long go to the police station to file a report wasting my time just because someone wanted to be funny geez....just wanted to tell this to someone so stupid of some people now i got to buy new europlates new regular plates jsut to probably get them taken away

John Paul Sartre said it best....."Hell, is other people!" Good Luck and I hope your license plate dilemma gets taken care of quickly!

Sorry to hear about this. It's amazing what some people will do to save a few bucks. Usually, it's people who can't obtain plates legally since they haven't paid property tax or insurance, from what I've heard. A few years ago, a friend of mine went to a party and when he and several others got ready to leave, they noticed someone had used tin snips to cut the license plate renewal stickers from the corners of their plates. It was about 8-10 cars all on the same side of the street. Now the plates are designed with the renewal sticker in the middle. Not sure if that just led to more plate thefts, but it definitely takes longer to remove an entire plate than just snip off the corner. Hang in there.

about 20 years ago a guy in a red Vette cut me off while I was waiting for a guy backing out of a parking spot. I very politely asked him to move and respect the fact that I was waiting to pull into the spot. He arrogantly told me to "F" off, said a few other impolite things and waddled his fat, balding ass self into a restaurant with a gal that must have been paid for..........................Well , he lost his plates that nite too.............

Here in Europe, that's a big problem.
People even steal them on order. They say: "I need a plate for a black 5-er" and people just steal them.
They get used to get out of speedcam tickets and sometimes they'll even use them to fill up at a gasstation and drive off without paying.

The problem is that YOU get the tickets! (That's why nowadays, they'll change a number on the plate)
