Update. Coming home from the grocery store with a truck load of goods for my new grill -
My uncle either asleep or pretending to be asleep on the park bench that has a clear line of site to our driveway entrace.

I don't see the dog running around because as I found out later, the dog was sitting under his bench.

Cue the video tape!

Since I installed the surveillance systen, we have already had two people use our driveway for U-turns. I don't mean the apron from the road, I mean coming all the way up in to our driveway and then rolling right back out without stopping. My uncle has on several occassions fallen (presumably) asleep and woke up and lost his dog on his own, later to find the dog exploring the ravine between the bottom of our driveway and the road. Our house has a "valley" between us and the road and it is quite muddy down there. We have warned him about the U-turns and he shouldn't be surprised one day if he falls asleep and only wakes up to find a pancaked dog and some vehicle driveing back down our driveway. Why he can't keep that dog on a leash is beyond anyone's imagination as it would solve a host of problems, but as he has argued white idiotically (and incorrectly) in the past he's on his property and he can do whatever he pleases.

Bump: Update

So we (mom and I) sent a letter with those pictures to his brother (who lives in the same state just ~75miles away) asking for his help with this problem.

Things started to improve. The brother is older and I guess he have him a good "lil-brother" chat about other people's property. Bonus is the fact that this uncle is a bonified car nut. Weekly washing, bi-monthly waxing and trades in (not leasing) his older vehicle for the newer one every 3 years or so.

His tastes run towards Caddies and the like, but he likes them to shine. Oh and he is in his mid 70's.

So I thought great, problem solved because the mutt was from then on leash walked or at least reprimanded to stay away from the bimmer.
But all good things come to an end.

Well, I've had enough and he has had enough warning. Time to bust out the mini version of this
