My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
Lance Macklin who was driving a Austin-Healey in LeMans 1955 did suddenly change his driving line
right in front of the Mercedes driver Pierre Levegh causing a massive crash causing 83 spectarors dead.
Levegh was also killed but Macklin made it with no harm.
After this Mecedes quit racing for many, many years!
The Austin was just sold in a auction in UK for about 1,5 M$.
A dramatic video and a pic of the Auston before the very dramatic accident.

All I can say is WOW! That initial video of the car becoming airborne and heading straight for the camera is chilling. The rest is just horrific...

I had seen that on a SPEED channel retrospective once. Just unreal.
