Sorry to post another space image 
but I though this one was too good not to share. I used a Philips webcam(!) and took 42 AVI videos of the Moon covering the entire surface. The AVI were processed to give a BMP image, and then these were manually aligned in a mosaic, and finally edited in photoshop.
The final image is about 4000 pixels square, here is a smaller version at 1000 pixels. It took well over ten hours to process the data to this image

I looked for the moon Saturday when it was supposed to be quite large. Unfortunately we had overcast skies and the usual light polution. I didn't bother trying to take a pic.
