Well gentlemen it looks like I am a traitor. After selling my 04 E60 and working out a deal for a 05 E60, my dealer let me down. To make a long story short I am the proud owner of a 2005 Acura RL.

I must say that it is not a bad car and Acura has fixed alot of the complaints that have be stated on this site about the E60. However, I still miss my baby.

At least you owned an E60 and can comment on it unlike those trolls at RF that did not.

 

Sorry to hear that. How did the dealer let you down? While the RL may not handle quite as crisply as the E60, Acura does build some good cars. I had an old Intregra for years and my wife currently drives an MDX. Very please with both. And don't be a stranger, I suspect there may be another BMW in your future!

 

spec33, congrats on your new toy and sorry to hear you are leaving us . if your dealer let you down, why didn't you go to another one ? well, i'm sure the rl won't handle like a e60. but at least you can enjoy your dvd audio .

Sorry things didn't work out, but variety is good. Going from a 525 to a RL seems like an upgrade to me.

 

Enjoy the RL. I test drove one and it's a sweet car, I thought the integration of the technology was just superb, especially the XM linked nav with real time traffic. In fact, if the dealers in my neck of the woods had been a little more commercial when I was looking to buy I might have had one on my driveway as well.
