...(I have a vinyl adhesive number plate) Looks like normal licence plate but it's a sticker.
Can you tell us how/where to get that same vinyl adhesive license plate, or at least what to search for on Google? (Not an image of your plate, of course, but custom made to match our rear plates.) I've tried looking here in the US, but no luck so far...

Damn, these guns are fast...perhaps one solution is to hide (out of sight) behind the car in front, as in the clip where the detector registered an E..01 error.

Lee, you gotta see the pic of Nick's plate...It's subtle and sweet!

edit: Nick beat me to the post.

Interesting... I didn't notice they were targeting the license plates to get their speed readings. Nick, did you print that vinyl plate up at your shop? How much would you charge to make me a California plate?

Interesting, anyone else notice that he/she had a more difficult time locking on when the target was the hood or windshield?

Edit: Someone else beat me to the punch. However I don't think it's targeting the plate. Think about how many states don't require a front plate. I think it has more to do with a flat surface that will return the beam.

Perhaps, but we don't have a flat surface either, specially with the Mpack front bumper

Anyway, the gunman in the video, is getting instant score when targeting on plates, unlike when targeting on windshield or elsewhere.

Yeah, I'm still a little puzzled by TexaZ3 comment about taking the front plate off. I re-watched the vid and clearly there is some difficulty in obtaining a reading off the windshield or hood. But a few cars don't have front license plates in the vid and got a reading (1st car and I think 3 to last). Notice the motorcycle too. There is some difficulty but there is a lock...but I don't think bikes have front plates, do they? I agree with Imola...flat surface to return the beam.
