So I have a weekend job that requires about a 25 mile commute on the turnpike.

This used to be a racetrack, as there is little to no traffic on weekends in the AM. Well..., since the economic downturn and big construction projects on the turnpike, things have changed.

I am aware of this, and have seen many speed traps the last several months..., so I have been more alert, but not driving slower

So I am driving to work Saturday AM... and I am running late. My normal cruising speed on the turnpike is 85-90mph regardless.

Correct me if I am wrong... but I believe that FHP is the only department that can give tickets on the turnpike. I think I am right because I have purposely sped past my share of city and county POs on the turnpike with no repercussions.

So there is a dipshit dragging his feet in the left lane about 65 miles/hour. I tried flashing lights, etc with no success. My first opening requires me to change 2 lanes to my right, then back. In the process of doing this... I passed a slower driving vehicle in the right lane... and left him! As I look in my rearview, I see a sedan with the large "ram" apparatus in the front and the "spot light" on the side. I'm like " Fu$#... I didn't see him and just cut off FHP" He is haulin on my ass, then abruptly pulls up to my left and mirrors my speed.

I am hesitant, but I look to my left.... his car says "DDR Enforcement". His windows are blacked so I can't see into his vehicle, but I figure if he had the authority to pull me over... he would have done so

So I waved... hit about 100, and left him. I watched him slowly drag to the right and then exit.

i looked up DDR in FL and got a hit for a Florida Dance Dance Revolution camp. yes. i guess one exists. however, i couldnt find where DDR relates to law enforcement
