Good point Calvin, not sure, but somehow Americans are the only ones who drink and drive now. Oh, and we got invaded by the Europeans. WOLVERINES!!!!!!! Where have you been that you missed that?

Dear craigm1841, thank's for a nice discussion and a both philosophic and patriotic answers.

No one is perfect and most of us are both foolish and selfish.

Yes, Dunn was a jackass, but still a human. But he did not kill anyone by anger or politics, only himself.

I'm not a fan of "Jackass" and have not even seen a single TV-show of them and I really hate assholes,
but still I wanted to send out my participation for Ryan Dunn.

Why? Because I have been an asshole and jackass myself when young.
I do understand why people to things like he did and the US (worldwide) entertainment buisness enhances it.

Guys like Ryan Dunn did crazy things for some to wonder and for others to lift themselves up in a "moral" sence.

That's why he was needed!

With all due respect, he took another (alleged) innocent life with him. I agree though, he's still human and we should feel for him, especially his family.

We all have choices...The passenger must have know he was drunk...The passenger was probably drunk as well...He took the "risk" to ride with somebody that was drunk...They both did something careless...The passenger could have called a cab or caught a ride with somebody sober...Regardless of the reason of how they died, I still feel bad for him and the families... I wish death upon nobody! We've all made horrible decisions at one point or another in our life...RIP!

Default Ryan Dunn Deserves His Post-Mortem Disdain

Ryan Dunn, like a lot of other US show people (who are loved by millions of youth) do what the audience wants,
are produced by the US entertainment industry.

They are lifted so far from the ground, close to space, that they don't understand law and order.
Who`s to blame? The US lifestyle and money or God, maybe Porsche, Ferrari, M-B or BMW?

These drunk/dope fast car accidents are so very typical in US, killing also others.
Starting with James Dean etc etc etc etc

Don't cast the first stone, please.
Who's to blame? Simple. The **** that murdered someone and potentially endangered everyone else on the road, driving 100+ MPH.

Everyone makes mistakes. Some worse than others. But everyone, without exception, must live and die by their mistakes. And if you make a mistake as bad as Ryan Dunn, you deserve your personal fate because you killed yourself, a passenger in the car you drove, and you would've killed more people if other people crossed your path in the moments of your selfishness. Luckily it didn't, but it very well could've. Ryan Dunn SHOULD be shamed by the living, not given excuses or rejoiced.

Funniest thing was that someone criticized Roger Ebert for saying this is what happens when you drive drunk, the person said that this guy Ryan Dunn was an idol to some - really? Seriously?
