I appreciate it very much. That's why its called the "M5".
Having the M5 fly past you when you are both at WOT like your 550 was standing still is a humbling experience.

Yeah, but C also has the X5 that he can rely on. In my case, it'll be either the coupe or the MTA

I like having AWD on the 530 bc the car is pretty heavy and having some extra traction helps in the twisties. On an e92 a RWD is both - better balanced and lighter, so it makes for a better experience. But again, I'm just guessing, since my driving experience of a RWD e92 is limited to one test drive I took about a year ago. Another thing I'm curious about is the LSD - it appears ludicrous that BMW would refuse to fit a proper Limited Slip Differential on their basically fastest non-M coupe.

Looked into some aftermarket LSDs real quick, but its retarded how much money they are. I'm planning to lease, so no LSD for me, unless I get the Xi, which - if I understand it correctly - has to come with at least some sort of differential...

PS COME TO THE BBQ MEET ON THE 11th!!!
id say get the m3 since soon you will no longer be able to get a real ///M with an N/A engine after this generation, only bs modifications to standard line turbo engines with m logos.............but if not, get the rwd and dedicated snows, my m6 drives in all NY weather, no garage queens allowed!!

So obviously, I'm like the only person on here who cares about the limited slip rear differential... Subaru people would laugh at all of you all! Shame!
Y'all just got those Bimmer to show off - not drive

Actually my wife has a Subaru, a Tribeca, nuff said?

yeah, I don't really care about all that "authenticity" crap - I get a 335, save 20g's, save on gas, save on insurance and still pass an M3 after a grand spent on mods - I'm going with the 335 coupe.

....that was not the point, if you really drove the m3 for more than a test drive im sure you'd understand why so many argue that its the best all around sports coupe in the world...its a very fine vehicle, even if it cant beat my m6, it absolutely destroys the 335 in every meaningful way, no one cares if a chipped 335 can "beat" it off the line, thats not what ///Ms are about...now if the cost is prohibitive for you thats one thing, but one interested in buying an m rarely cares about fuel efficiency or insurance rates, you get what you pay for as always.....when my m6 is ready to leave me and with the next m6 looking like its going to be a turbo based offering, i will probably choose to get the m3 to stay in the NA world...turbos suk, plain and simple, i.m.NOTSO.h.o.
