Don't get wrong, I feel that it is VERY important to show respect to elders, women, and even other men! The rapid decay of America's (and the world's) moral fabric is a serious problem. I think this decay is a major cause of the lack of respect throughout the country.
However, the idea of unconditional respect towards 50% of the world's population is rather simple minded. Respect isn't unconditional, a person can be deemed undeserving of respect. The thing that separates human beings from animals is the ability to reason.. being able to make a rational decision based on facts, observations, and beliefs. Judging another human being on their past actions and current behaviors is a very important part of being a human in a society. Calling an amateur pornstar a "skank" is quite fitting on this basis; Webster defines a skank as "a person and especially a woman of low or sleazy character." This term is perfect for a woman who films herself having sex with multiple partners (male and female) and goes as far as to sodomize herself, live, for money. Personally, I have no respect for this woman.. I could probably enjoy her company in a social setting and not verbally insult her lifestyle choices. But I do not see any problem with judging her actions and holding her, as a person, responsible for the way we look/treat her. She could even gain my respect back by giving it up and admitting it was a mistake (like the Marlboro man did).
These types of people are a daily example of immorality and help to perpetuate our society's moral decay.

While I agree with you to an extent, morality is a matter of perception. Most who claim the highest morality are in fact very amoral. What a young lady chooses to do for a living may not be the type of work we would wish on any woman in our family but she may also be (I don't know her so I can't say for sure) much more moral than say a priest who claims supreme morality while playing with little boys in his spare time.
