My Ride: Collected Sept 2009 - BMW E90 M3, Silverstone II, Novillo Black leather, 19" M Double-Spoke alloys, High Beam Assist, Electronic Damper Control, Voice Control, PDC, USB, DAB, High Gloss Shadowline, Sliding armrest, Trim Finishing in aluminium grey.

With all the problems thats appearing on the forum re the iDrive software, it looks like the old 'Vulcan Neck Pinch' (ctrl-alt-del) is possibly required on a reasonably regular basis. Bearing in mind what it's based on, I'm not surprised. I think we possibly need BMW to provide a simpler way to re-boot such as a fold out keyboard .......

But you do know that the Ctrl, Alt and Delete buttons allready exist! Don't you!?

Mute, CD Eject and DVD Eject.

Don't have Nav. So now whats the re-boot method?

Anyway, a small keyboard like that looks better don't u think.
I'm hacking away at an old keyboard at the moment
