Picked up my car today. While chatting with my SA he tells me 2 different people had come in asking for certain fixes or features based on what I have posted here on E60 net or over on the Bimmerfest 6er forum. I asked how he know it was me as I have never told him my handle. He said they told him what I did for living and where (he knows that info). When I asked him how they sounded he responded "knowledgable, very knowledgeable". I asked if it was a problem and he said its just like his dealing with me, he likes that the customer knows as it helps in problem description and lessons the false alarms (no problem found). Oh well, my SA is a great SA
(just in case he starts watching)
On another front. He said they are getting about three calls a day concerning faults mainfesting as Steering (AS) problems, brake and / or DSC failures. All apparently related to Steering Angle Sensor. Sensor is on National back order.
