Where are you going to barbecue? Inside? Might wanna get some fresh air masks
And.. I'd definitely get some more water. Or how do you reckon you'll get to wash yor car during the storm?
Hope it doesn't hit.

ROFL .. i take it that Hurricanes don't make their way towards Norway much these days, do they?
the severe wind/rain that causes the damage only lasts a few hours ... up to a day depending on size, location, and speed it travels ... during that time we sit around & wait patiently ...
the fun begins afterwards .. when you have NO power for a week or longer ... mind you last year we were out for ... nearly 2 weeks.
GOOD LUCK to everybody else ...
N. Florida
Georgia
Louisiana
Mississippi
Alabama
Texas
we are now on the very eastern line of the "Cone of Uncertainty" .. looks like we may luck out on this one.

Why not. Bring it on. I may be batching by then. We had grand twins born in Mobile yesterday and, of course, you-know-who is chomping at the bit to ride into the face of Dennis and start getting acquainted. I've talked her into waiting until Monday AM to leave. I'm already stocked up on batchelor supplies and have enuf to last us for the duration.

[/quote]That's what I'm hearing. Guess I haven't been watching her bulletin board too close. The boss now tells me they may be coming to Dallas. She has two daughters in Mobile, one on Dog River (also lost power during Cindy), and a son in Citronelle. Seems as though the two daughters are contemplating coming here, twins and all. 'Course the new mom is still in the hospital with the twins. Looks like an exciting weekend coming up.
