yeah, I know...but the same can be said about wheels, LCI tails, an M tech kit, a V-hood, etc etc etc...
+1, my fiance bought a LV bag cost about $1,500 and I was so/kind of pissed because that is too much for a handbag IMO but then I again I thought too that I'm spending mods on my car that cost more than that.

Stop! Abort! Do not try to buy the "right" purse for a woman. It will NEVER happen. It is a very personal item and even the smallest detail can ruin the deal. Trust me, I bought my wife a larger LV in Damier and she smiled and carried for a while. Then I noticed she wasn't using it after a few weeks. Her sister later confided in me she didn't really "love" it, but didn't want to hurt my feelings since I bought it in Nice. Of course, she'd used it so we couldn't return it to the local store for something else. Ugggh!

It's like a watch or a mod or even a gun. Only you know what you really want. This bag is something she will cherish for years--let her pick it out. Go to the LV store in Boca and get a catalog and wrap that up as a surprise. Let her savor the anticipation and see how excited she gets when she thumbs through the options. Then take her to pick it out and have lunch to celebrate. 2 cents.

WOW, I am impressed this is exactly what I would have told Roger, let her pick...I like the sharade thing, that's cool. I will have my boyfriend take lessons from you

PS: that is classified as a $1 advice not 2 cents...lol

OK. She loved the fact that I bought her a Louis but didn't love the bag. So I gave her the receipt, she did an exchange, now she's in love. I'm happy, she's happy, it's all good. Thanks all.
