My Ride: Arrived 3 June 2005: 2005 545i - Orient Blue, Black interior, Sport, Steptronic, Cold Weather, NAV, Sirius, Logic7, Comfort Seats, Sunshades. What a glorious ride!
Well, I had my car about 2 weeks when I hit the 1200 mile "now I can have fun" mark. So that equates to between 25K and 30K miles/yr. That's about what I drove my old Acura TL, and my motivation is strong to drive more miles in the Bimmer!
Interestingly enough, nobody has given me crap about my new 545i - even my public-sector clients who you would think would whine about their "high-priced consultant" driving such a machine. Everybody just says, "Good for you! You deserve to have a nice car at your age."
Oh, wait. I guess they just slammed me after all.
