ahhhh, you guys are lucky to have the choice to drive so often 
....working in NYC makes driving purely a hobby for the nites and weekends... in 5+ years of ownership, i've only just crossed the 43K miles mark....

I have almost had my car for a year and I have 8,500 miles on it. I was on vacation for 5 weeks (out of the country) when the car was indeed a garage queen

About 1000 miles a month. I split time with the 545 and a Carrera. My 2000 Carrera only has 17k on it. For several years I tried to conserve milage on the Porsche, and now I have an older Porsche with low milage. 
The depreciation is staggering either way. The only regret I have is not driving her more. Life is too short and the car gets old whether you drive it or not.

got mine on 02/04 and have ~10K miles on it so far. no scratches or door dings as of yet (i am always carefull where i park). have a slight curb rush on the front left wheel which i suspect valet service did. will cost $80 to fix. other than that, perfect condition inside and out.

My baby is a year and a half old and I have almost 36,000 on her. My lease is for three years and 36,000 miles so I guess for the next year and a half BMW will be making money on me for excess mileage since I intend to keep driving the bloody hell out of her
