when you are buying mass market receivers be very careful.

A lot of them DO NOT rate their power with all channels driven. Most of them are only with the front two, the center or the rears.

I know Onkyo was doing this for a long time.

I would look into Rotel.

Its a bit expensive but Audiogon.com has some great deals

oh and add pics if you guys can. We have some sweet systems on this forum.

Phil, I really like B&W speakers. When I bought my Klipsch, it was between these towers and some bookshelf B&W with a sub. B&W were crystal clear. That was like 10yrs ago and I think I got a better deal on the Klipsch. Sound advice used to carry them but then stopped for some reason

I've got a panasonic 720p front projector with a 110 inch stewart silverscreen
Cary audio cinema 11 preamp
cary audio cinema 2 amp
cary audio cinema 5 amp
dynaudio focus fronts and center
paradigm in ceiling for rear surrounds x4 ( I know, but I had to)
martin logan descent subwoofer
oppo digital dvd player outputting at 480i to harbor technologies video upscaler
thinking of getting panasonic blu ray dvd player, waiting for prices to bottom out
probably will upgrade projector to 1080p and preamp to newer Cary unit when it is finally out.

Yep, Bowers & Wilkins know how to make a nice speaker....bought them 'bearly' used many years ago at Sound Components in the gables for $700.00....a steal!

I think there was a falling out when Tweeter took over Sound Advice.
