But is that DTC off signal ?
DTC ON signal

What about the signal right next to D6 symbol on the dash board ? Isn't your E60 telling you to SLOW DOWN !!!???
It a triangle that appears when you turn on the DTC .
Anyway, you all go @150-160 kmh, so 180 is not so high

It's weird that our languages are so similar and we need english to talk
I don't speak french, but I understand something if I read

Which engine do you have on your E60 ?
And where are you located in France ?
No many french E60 owners here .. You buy only Renault-PSA

Bye!

Well, that's true I didn't encounter too many European E60 owners and even less French owners... But, from the number of LCI E60 I see in Paris, I think the figures are rising ! Maybe, we french speakers, don't enjoy that much English ??
Glad to see you enjoyed our highways and weren't cought by the new Subaru Imprezza of the Police patrols !
I always keep below speed limitations with my 520d

70% of the cars sold in France are french .
For second, americans are more skilled with internet and third they buy more big BMW

Here we have the driving license with points .. And I figure in all Europe is the same story .
But when the police catch you in a country different from your, they can only ask you money, but not cancel points from the license or suspend it for X months, that is the most important thing imho .

Hehe - Cool video !

Look what I did on my way home from IAA in Frankfurt two weeks ago:

In an Audi A6 2.0T (170hp) - And that's GPS speed!!! The manual said that the topspeed was 237 km/h...

I just love the Autobahn A7 between Hannover and Hamburg!

http://www.verkehrsinfo.de/ - is a pretty useful Autobanh webpage, but I don't think there is a lot of information about the restricted and unrestricted autobahn's in Germany.

The area close to Mulhouse in France is quite good, and the area around Frankfurt (autobahn A5 south of Frankfurt).

Just go to Germany some night with good weather and try. You will always find a place where there is no speed limits!

Just keep in mind, even when you're driving 200 km/h, there are still cars that would like to overtake you
