I heard that the E55 has really bad Heat Soak! The handling is not as good as Bimmer.
You're too young for a 750i. I would get a used 550i or 135i.

I had an E55 and I always get nervous driving it over 120 mph. Just didn't feel grounded when you're at a high speed. If you want a driver's car, stick with BMW, a 550i or an M5 . If you really want a change, then look into the E63, it feels more stable and I like the normally aspirated V8
