E55 if you can try getting the E63. We're young folks we don't want to drive a tank!

New or old 750?

I think the E55 suites you better though.

No more 5 series?

I heard stories where the E55 is faster than the E63. I like the look of the 7 too!

Im not sure. Might keep the car. I don't have stock parts so I might trade the car in as is.

If you must do MB, the C63 is perfect for you J. If you're going to stick with BMW, do not get the Love Boat. When you're 70 years old, get yourself a 7 series. Until then, get something sportier.

It's certainly easier to mod an E55 for performance.

I thinking the E55, delete the resonators, get the Singh tune and some wheels. Nothing too wild.

Having driven 7 Series I can understand where you're coming from ... though the current crop are more powerful highway tourers. The E class MBs are interesting but I just can't get into them. And, their reliability is even worse than BMW so don't go there without warranty.

Better to know what are you looking for a car to do - and what driving experience you seek in the next ride? There are lots of new alternatives out there including the new Jags that are getting great reviews or the Porsche Panorama.

No contest: the E55 -- the acceleration king of the class (with the exception of the CTS-V). The 750 is a lovely car but it is giant. If you love nimbleness in your handling, I would stay away from the 750.
