I don't know what is more disconcerting. Ed stockpiling weapons and ammo or Jimmy with guns!
Ha! Hey James...watch the finger on the trigger, pal. Don't want you shooting your dick off

Haha. Just to add to your feeling of unease, I just bought another 1000 rounds of WWB from Walmart today. This whole election thing has me scared shitless

What's the best method/tactic to eliminate jerking the trigger/tightening the fingers? I just can't seem to improve on my problem of going low and left.
Take a deep breath and squeeze the trigger in a slow fluid motion (don't anticipate the depression).

Jimmy, You have no business owning a gun. If I were the Range Master you would be kicked off the line and not allowed to return till you took a basic safety course.

Kids, Jimmy is a perfect example of what NOT to do while handling a gun. Jimmy is breaking every rule of gun safety.

The fundamental NRA rules for safe gun handling are:

1. ALWAYS keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.
This is the primary rule of gun safety. A safe direction means that the gun is pointed so that even if it were to go off it would not cause injury or damage. The key to this rule is to control where the muzzle or front end of the barrel is pointed at all times. Common sense dictates the safest direction, depending on different circumstances.
2. ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.
When holding a gun, rest your finger on the trigger guard or along the side of the gun. Until you are actually ready to fire, do not touch the trigger.
3. ALWAYS keep the gun unloaded until ready to use.
Whenever you pick up a gun, immediately engage the safety device if possible, and, if the gun has a magazine, remove it before opening the action and looking into the chamber(s) which should be clear of ammunition. If you do not know how to open the action or inspect the chamber(s), leave the gun alone and get help from someone who does.

Jimmy's finger is on the trigger of his loaded weapon with the hammer cocked and pointed towards the lane next to him. This behavior endangers every person at the range as well as Jimmy. The safety may or may not be active but based on Jimmy's lack of gun safety I would guess it is not active. Whether or not the safety is on is irrelevant though.

+1. Lots of people get shot with unloaded guns.

Didn't even look. But yeah, very dangerous. I'm always pointing my gun downrange. So much so, I'm a bit wary of starting to carry in a holster since the gun is no longer pointed in front of me. Sure I'll get used to it, but will hopefully never become complacent.

I'm pretty sure that Jimmy having the arsenal that he does is much more worrisome than seeing you walk out of Walmart with 1000 rounds of .45 cal!
