HAHA! Because that's what all the guys they chase around on Cops wear (actually it's better on Reno 911). Sometimes an egg-stained wife-beater shirt, too. Also, teeth are optional.
Really? I honestly thought that's what all you hicks from MN wore as 'lounge attire'

Yeah, just add to that outfit a turquoise bolo tie and a pair of Tony Lama goat ropers and you can reinact the same scene in AZ! Gawd, that would be a funny pic!

Got a TLR-2 light/laser and tried it out today. Sick, sick, sick. Makes double taps much more accurate. Will not get lazy and keep practicing with the ironsights, but I can see how in a high stress situation that lasers can help immeasurably. Also got my shipment of Federal 230g HST JHP's. Very anxious to see how/if they shoot any different from the WWB's I've been using.

You better get used to going to the range with that laser sight Ed. Once you get married those targets will be the only thing you are double tapping.

Didn't keep my targets today, but I'm getting better. Still tend to go low and left, but the groups are a bit tighter. I think the most important thing I've learned so far is to be surprised by breaking the shot. Still working on trying not to anticipate the shot.

What do think is the most 'useful' distance to practice at for self defense purposes? I was told that 7 yards is the minimum distance that an enemy can reach you before you can peel off a round. I don't think it would be very useful for me to practice at anything more than 10-15 yards b/c at that distance, I should either be hiding or running.
