I'm a gun nut - nice to see this thread here.

I'm partial to Glocks, but have several S&W handguns as well.

I have a Model 27 that I carry concealed at times, a Model 22 that stays in my daily driver, a Model 23 that gathers dust more than anything else and a Model 35 that I take to the range. My wife likes the Model 23 but doesn't carry. I keep a S&W M&P .40 at my office, and use twin S&W 500s to get rid of pumpkins after Halloween.

At little OT, but just picked up at PTR91 (H&K knockoff) that's a sweet shooting rifle for my oldest son. Partial to ARs in that department, though.

Been thinking about a Kimber. I'll go back through and read some of these posts, but does anyone have a strong opinion about them?

Not a strong opinion, but I've heard bad things about Kimber's 1st gen 1911-pattern pistols. What's your budget?

Had heard good things about Kimber Super Match II. Never been much of a .45 guy, but the SMII comes highly recommended. Think it's worth it?

Okay. This was from tonight. My last 20-30 or so of about 100 rounds from about 20 feet. Classic right-handed novice error: low and to the left. Pulling the trigger with too much force, correct? All I gotta say is I had a BLAST. This stuff is so much fun. I even signed up for a CCW class although I don't know if I'll ever use it. But what the hell.
