will do and will get the all the fast cars out and a civic and then you can see
No doubt! Now all I need is to make sure that we have access to a GT-R when I come... preferably, one with a dry carbon kit all around!

Pingu, you should google the road so people have an idea of how twisky the road are

In that road, civic type R can beat Ferrari with ease (downhill tho)
Hong Kong twisky road single lane , one side up and one side down, Like initial D

But 525 is BIGGER than the GT-R!!!

Dude... I don't know... I don't wanna argue with you, but you're wrong

aaaanyway, I do think I'll take you up on that offer to do a run some day. Are there places to rent a decent car in HK? How much for like an M3 per day - do you know? I'm actually hoping to visit HK in a year or two.
If you need to turn corners every 50 meters (or less) continously in a more than 2 miles long road,
you will know why pingu can keep up with the GT-R, apparently GT-R is too much power for that road

I can probably keep up with Usain Bolt running from one side of my office to the other side (about 20 feet).
I can also corner faster than a Formula 1 car in my 545 when the F1 car has slicks on and it's raining.
A car with 250bhp but no speed limiter can probably drive faster than an M5 that's limited to 155mph.

These are all fairly pointless comparisons, as is finding a road where the GTR isn't able to pull out an advantage.

It's like the guy on a forum (not sure if it was this one or an Audi one) who had a modest 2.5 litre NA engined car and would often race people from the traffic light. They'd beat him to 60mph, 1/4 mile, 120mph or whatever point it was that they'd basically totally won and decided to slow down. It was at this point that he'd fly by still accelerating and think he actually won because the other drive lost their nerve or something.

I am just telling the fact in here, i didnt say the GT-R is slower than a 525, it is 10 times faster i am sure!!
But for the twisky narrow mountain roads, it mostly downs to the driver, and not the power.

I have driven the GT-R, the traction is amazing and unbelieveably good!

GTR is useless on that Twisty Road TaiMoShan, have you seen the size of it???i mean we had Mike's 335i coupe twin turbo with bbs and lowered and his 4 door M3 E90 4 door and also the 993 RS, all failed to lose any of our modded E60's, and hows this KC's 323i with one mod a K&N filter was also always just behind, 80% car and 20% driver
personally i think the E60 handles better than the E90

but on the big roads, the GTR is king

Yeah, I was agreeing with you.
The straight line performance is amazing too, faster than "anything" i've driven before.
When you thought the power in 2nd gear is pretty much what it can give, it just go to another level when you shift the next gear.
For the money you pay and the amount of fun you get, there are no other cars i can think of can replace it. Hands down
