I don't know, bro - when we had a GT-R at one of our twisties meets this summer, the GT-R looked like it could eat M5's for breakfast with it's handling alone - I'm not even talking about the power.

The GT-R will beat any production BMW ever made. It's faster (round the Top Gear track) than a Porsche Carrera GT, Ferrari Scuderia, Lambo Murcielago LP640, Koenigssegg, Merc SLR (need I go on?). The M5 or M3 are in a different class to a GT-R, which is in hypercar territory. Jeremy Clarkson got a 3.5s 0-60 time out of it in Japan.

Yeah, Clarkson also got a taken away in an ambulance after that track experience due to a neck injury caused by the performance of the car. The car has a G meter in it .

Damn i'd love one, they are only ?56K new.

On a very twisty track i'd love to see the GTR compete with the M3 CSL.

The M3 CSL wouldn't stand a chance, it's a GTR. It's beating hypercars 6 times the price (SLR, Carrera GT), a mere M3 CSL wouldn't offer up any competition. If the M3 CSL wants something to go up against then a 911 GT3 or GT3 RS would be good, but all three would be left for dead by the GTR.

The GTR is over 23 seconds faster around the Nurburgring than an M3 CSL. That's a huge asswhooping.

+1

This thing eats lambos and ferraris. I cant think of any BM capable of taking it on (excluding F1 obviously).
