I assume you have or are using it or at least have tried it out?
I do not use this stuff much since I have retired (in place at new company)
My current lifestyle would not call for much of this but my try it out jsut to check capabilities.

Just the demo - I don't generally like to rack up the costs. It is however the first useful application of SMS in my opinion - and from a reputable dispenser of information (Google).
I used to have an app from a third party that provided a lot of the same stuff to my clamshell pager. Canned searches for certain things - directions, etc... This looks like it could be pretty useful - especially once we get SMS integration on the E60.

this is cool but i got the following message when i typed in "honolulu" for direction:
Looking for map of 'Honolulu, HI'? Unfortunately map information is not available through Google SMS.
not that i need directions around here but will definitely help if i come across the need one day.

Yeah, like so much coming out of the idea machine that is Google, it may not have all the functionality or coverage you'd want at this early a stage.
