That sounds so cool Mel. I have to do that. Yes, I've heard that the HANS device (http://hansdevice.com/site/index.html) is very confining. But a basal skull fracture would be a lot worse. and it's better to be safe. That's killed a lot of well-known race car drivers:

Formula 1 driver Roland Ratzenberger in the 1994 San Marino Formula One Grand Prix
Indy 500 drivers Bill Vukovich, Tony Bettenhausen and Floyd Roberts.
NASCAR drivers Dale Earnhardt, Adam Petty, Tony Roper, Kenny Irwin, Jr., Neil Bonnett, John Nemechek, J. D. McDuffie, Blaise Alexander, Richie Evans, and Clifford Allison.
CART drivers Jovy Marcelo, Greg Moore and Gonzalo Rodriguez
ARCA driver Blaise Alexander (info courtesy of Wikipedia)

I don't think that any of us on the meet got anywhere near 160 mph. And if any of us did get anywhere near 160 (or 120-130 mph) (such as, on the long straight on the downhill run towards Torches from the scenic overlook above West Point), I doubt we'd be posting it in a public forum.

So how do we civilians sign up for the race program you did?

You were missed at the meet.

Thanks!

Looks great but that's a large chunk of change for a meaninful length drive.

Still, looks like a lot of fun.

Yeah, there was this gorgeous Interlagos Blue M6 that was just always at the back of the pack doing about 40.

I think my car could eat it up.
