Probably like most of the members on this forum, I have a serious watch fetish...having said that, I usually get my watches from Tourneau at South Coast and/or Century City. With the tax rates going up here in the California, it really hits one's pocket book. I'm in the market for a Panerai, and wondering if any of the enthusiasts out there can hook me up. Thanks.

You can check out www.timezone.com where a lot of watch collectors sell BNIB Pams and other brands at very competitive prices. Good luck.

I know of a place in Ktown. They're an authorized dealer for Rolex, Panerai, AP, Patek phillipe, and much more. They give awesome discounts. I got my Rolex Daytona and Omega Seamaster automatic, just to mention a few, from there.

not in LA (but dallas), but ive used wingates before and found them to be very good.
bought an 'AP ROO city of sails' at a discount and then sold it back to them 2 years later and they gave me $3000 more than what i paid for it. (granted, that wont happen on most watches)
www.tic-tock.com
also check artoftime.com (theyre in FLA) ... have heard they dont accept returns on brand new watches though.
worth a shot, heck, at least u wont pay sales tax.
