After the problems she has had, I would think that she would want to sue BMW.

BIMMER GIRL - Welcome aboard. Bigger isn't always better. I took 2 months to chose between the 545 and the 530 and I am glad I chose the 530 every time I pull into the gas station. The price of gas is getting our of hand ( live in NJ and it is probably the cheapest of any place ). No one will think any less of you no matter what you drive, well maybe if you drove a Le Car we would, but not a BMW and of course not a E60 since that is what we are all about. Everyone is here to learn about their car and share their knowledge and experience. I hope that you enjoy your stay.

The only reason I complain about gas is because it has gone up 2x the price it was about 1.5 years ago. Things are relative. If I paid $2.00 for a gallon of milk and then had to pay $4.00 for the same item it would upset me. The fact is that we could have the same prices for gas that we used to but we refuse to increase our purchases from south america and increase our own production as well as use reserves to curb the costs. This is also putting many airlines our of business around the globe so I am not the only one complaining. I of course love my car and will pay the price but that doesn't mean that I can not be upset about it. Just like someone may have a problem with their I-Drive software but they don't complain about it, but it is somthing that drives you nuts so you complain. It is a matter of expectations and what ticks you off. I have had some problmes with my i-drive software but have not complained about it. Others did. It just hasn't bothered me to that point. And also, I was not complaining about the price of gas. I stated that I am happy when I go to the gas pump with my decision to buy a 530 over the 545. I never once expressed any displeasure with the price of gas, ony my pleasure on my choice of vehicles.

Entering a highway
Running the "stoplight grad prix"
Listening to the beautiful exhaust note
Zooming around a race track
And also for getting a great parking/valet spot in front of your favorite restaurant.
On the other hand, you get a great looking and handling car with a lighter front-end and a few less trips to the gas mart with a 6 cyl which equal a much heavier purse/wallet.
Either way, one is driving a beautifully designed and engineered car.
(Also, is it just me, or does the E60 look even better than ever, now that there are a few on the road? Also, I think the MB E is already starting to look dated IMHO).
