Been hanging out with this girl for 6 months. We made it official about 2-3weeks ago so yeah I know I'm not obligated to spend a lot on her. But she's been through a lot when she was younger and never really had a decent b-day so I want to make this a good one. WTF DO I GET HER? I seriously have no clue except for handbags... Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

take her out to a nice place to eat.. then buy her a smal trinket from tiffiny an co@ south coast plaza... like a small bracelet...that might work.... hand bags change style too fast.. whereas a trinket will last forever and be worn alot.... ericd

 

Or if your creative enough and she will appreciate romatism you could fix up ur place a bit more special, cook a meal by yourself and try to cook smth exotic and make sure u taste that long before she gets to sit at the table (everyone can take her to a nice restaurant but not everyone can try so hard for her like you ),some music, some wine, a nice gift at the end of the meal(like a jewel or smth, a necklece or smth and find a unique way to give it to her) roses on the way to the bath, then a romantic bath with floating cadels or whatever you have in mind, nice incents will just do. You know that kind of stuff...make her feel wanted and loved (if she deserves that) and make her feel that you struggled alot for all that stuff. That's nice.

No matter what you do I think being as sincere as you are, she is going to know it and appreciate it.

Hard to tell at 20 but I know that all women like shopping...have your credit card ready... take her shopping, at the end a nice dinner and have flowers delivered to the dinner table. That should work...I hope

Self-prepared food, a self-made, sweet congratulation card (with some nice text in it), a sweet plush toy (huge Eeyore should do ) and a promise to cuddle and be sweet all day should do it

if you are lazy and don't want to think, simply take her to shop for what she wants...within a budget. the "creative" gift that you get her might end up in her closet or another trip to the mall for a refund/exchange .
