I've been doing these online research study surveys and in-person market research studies for quite a while now and they pay quite nicely for not really having to do anything other than offer your opinion. If you're in the IT industry they pay really good. My two most recent 15 minute phone surveys paid $150 and $200. Here's what I've been paid for the online surveys as proof that it does work. You also get paid when your referrals and your referrals' referrals complete surveys.
