haha "...Some would carry automatics..." - so this IS a matter of personal preference?
Actually: no.

For you it is, but for a bodyguard it is about the position you have in the team.
When in the inner circle, right with your customer, all you need is a revolver.
On some positions in the protection team an automatic is more useful, so "some would carry automatics".

I recently sent my Sig Sauer P220 Stainless .45 out to get a few mods done to it, but finally received it yesterday. I added a new barrel and compensator, new meprolight adjustable sights, polished short trigger, polished throat, barrel, and feed ramp, polished rails and polished internals. I took her to the range last night and after adjusting the sights, I was able to get 3" groupings from 10 yards! Check it out!

I have two Kimbers. A stainless Goldmatch II (house) and a CDP Ultra Carry (E60).

I use Ranger-T as ammo. I have tested numerous bullets and these are by far the best.

Old pic taken at work years ago:

Not me firing though, I'm instructing. Good thing is I don't have to settle for short ranges .
Don't flame about the shooter's high position, basic training's going on there .

THAT is a stunning firearm! Just beautiful. This may be my next purchase. I may be contacting you for details if you don't mind. I've never owned a pistol of such a large caliber (so far just .22, .380, 9mm). Are those sights similar to Tritium? That's was I have on my Glock 19.

Dude that thing is sick!. I have never seen a compensator as an "add on" to a pistol. I guess the new barrel is threaded? I have also never seen a compensator with the vents pointed up. I had a Ruger revolver SP101 .357 with 3" barrel. I could never shoot it accurately with .357 rounds, much more accurate with .38. I figured 3" barrel was too short for .357. This led me to believe that if I bought a .45, I would buy a tactical version with a longer barrel. After seeing that canon whole from 10 yards, I may have to reconsider. How were your groups before the mods?
